New Venetian Gold - Granite Slab

MSI New Venetian Gold - Granite Slab is Brazilian granite in a beige and gold field, lit through with fine veins of deep red, grey and brown. It is one of the enduring warm granites, the stone a generation of designers used to anchor kitchens around wood cabinetry, and it still does that work better than most of what replaced it. The veining holds its character across the cut, so a multi-piece perimeter reads as one continuous composition. Fabrication and edge work are handled by your shop to the project's spec, eased, mitered or full bullnose on request, supplied polished in 3cm.

Granite of this class is specified for what it does over time: the polished face stays bright over years of daily cooking, the warm field forgives crumbs and shadows that colder stones announce, and heat from a pan is a non-event. Sealing follows the standard granite protocol, annually, and the slab asks nothing else.
