How is carpet measured and seamed?

Carpet is sold by the square foot or yard and comes on rolls, usually 12 feet wide, so seams are planned around the room. Share your dimensions and we will map the layout and waste for you.

Is it good for stairs and high traffic?

For stairs and busy areas, choose a higher-twist nylon with good density. Many styles are rated for heavy traffic, and the spec above notes where each one performs best.
