The engineered multi-ply birch core keeps each plank stable across seasons and over varied subfloors, where solid Brazilian Cherry would shift and gap. A smooth urethane finish reinforced with aluminum oxide protects against daily foot traffic, pets, and spills without dulling the wood's depth. Beveled edges add shadow and definition between planks. Residential coverage includes a limited-lifetime structural warranty and a 25-year finish warranty, so this floor is built to last well beyond the first impression.
